ASG acquires John Newell Mazda

Autosports Group Limited (ASX: ASG) is pleased to announce it has entered into an agreement to acquire an 80% interest in John Newell Mazda at Alexandria, New South Wales.

John Newell Mazda is a prominent Mazda dealership strategically located opposite Autosports Group’s Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, McLaren, Bentley, Jaguar and Land Rover dealerships at Alexandria.

Current Dealer Principal of John Newell Mazda, Mark Conlon, will continue with the business as not only the Dealer Principal but also as a 20% shareholder of the business.

Consistent with the Group’s automotive retail offering, the John Newell Mazda business offers new and used vehicle sales, servicing, finance and insurance, parts sales and fleet services.

John Newell Mazda will be the Group’s second Mazda dealership, joining Toowong Mazda in Queensland.
